Lake County Is Worth Protecting.
Your Lakes. Your Land. Your Vote.
I've spent my career as a professional scientist and planner in transportation and the environment. I know exactly what happens when growth outpaces the roads, schools, and water systems built to support it.
I've watched Lake County change. I've voted to slow it down when the plans weren't right. And I've done it as a lone voice when the facts called for it.
I get things done.

Keeping Growth from Getting Ahead
- Roads, schools, and utilities need to be in place before new projects get approved, not years after families have already moved in.
- I push back against state-level mandates that strip Lake County residents of their say over what gets built here.
Protecting Your Tax Dollars
- Lake County's property tax rate is the lowest in the region, and I intend to keep it that way. I work to keep the tax burden low and promote fair tax solutions.
- As a small business owner, I treat the county's nearly $1 Billion Dollar Budget with the same discipline I bring to my own books.

Defending Our Open Spaces and Lakes
- Nearly 80% of Lake County residents ranked conservation and land use as their top concern in the county's own 2025 survey. I have a masters in Engineering Management and Graduate certifcate in Natural Resource Policy and Administration. When it comes to a vote, I know the science behind the decision.
- I will stop projects that threaten our lakes, rural land, and the open spaces that made most of us choose to live here.
Fixing Our Roads Before Approving More Traffic
- Traffic congestion ranked second among Lake County residents in that same survey. New approvals should not come before the roads to support them.
- I prioritize infrastructure funding that moves people safely and connects our communities, not just new development corridors.

Bringing Good Jobs Without Giving Up What Makes Lake County Special
- I have championed the Wellness Way Plan to attract high-wage employers to Lake County while keeping our quality of life intact.
- Growth that creates real opportunity for residents is worth supporting. Housing sprawl for its own sake is not.
Keeping Our Community Safe
- I make sure our deputies, firefighters, and EMS personnel have the funding, training, and equipment they need to serve every part of the county.
- My record on public safety has earned the trust of the people who do that work every day.

Let's Finish What We Started
Serving as your County Commissioner has been one of the greatest honors of my life because this job is about protecting the place we call home. I’m asking for your help with an important step in the re-election process so I can continue serving our community.
Lake County is growing rapidly—and growth doesn’t manage itself.
That means standing up for:
- Strong growth management that prioritizes infrastructure and quality of life before approvals are granted.
- Conservation of open spaces, wildlife habitats, and the lands that make Lake County unique.
- Real solutions to road congestion, focusing on safety, connectivity, and smart investment.
- Public safety and first responders because a safe community is the foundation of everything else.
I’ve built a reputation for being prepared, effective, and willing to say “no” when a proposal isn’t consistent with Lake County’s long-term interests. I strongly believe that the government closest to the people works best, and I will continue fighting against one-size-fits-all growth mandates that do not reflect our community’s values. I’ve also worked to keep Lake County the lowest-taxed county in Central Florida.
Thank you for your trust, support, and commitment to keeping Lake County a place we’re proud to pass on to the next generation.
Yours in Service and Gratitude,
Sean Parks
